Graphic recording is a creative way of capturing a conversation, presentation or brainstorming session. It encourages group engagement, collaboration and synthesis of varying ideas and perspectives. Being able to see the conversation visually as it occurs is a great benefit to visual learners and thinkers.
The visual capture can then be used as a deliverable to communicate the content of the event to participants and stakeholders.
As the conversation unfolds, I will listen for key information and capture it on large foam core boards, charting paper or white board walls, creating a visual summary that can be referenced in the future. Afterwards, I provide the record as a digital deliverable in whatever format is most valuable.
